Pedigree birds were brought from the farm Villeb¸l Struds“ (Denmark). Parental herd of 65 ostriches was broken into groups of 14. Every group then has been placed in a separate placement with an open air walk ability. The complex includes a department for growing of the young up to 3 month old that includes hatchery. At the hatchery there are three incubators that together fit 375 eggs, and two heatchers for 60 eggs each.
Ostriches up to 3 month old are kept in incubatory in good conditions that were specially designed for them. When they get older they are taken to a placement for under 12-14 month ostriches, where there are also good conditions created.
Ostriches are feed with sterling, ecologically pure food mixes that do not contain growth stimulator nor any genetically modified components and antibiotics. The mix is certified. There is qualified staff working at the farm. The farm is capable of growing 1000 ostriches a year that means that our farm is one of the biggest ostrich growing farm on the territory of Eastern Europe.
